Lucky Luciano: Making Bikes Run Like Bootleg Whiskey
If you were a gangster in the 1930’s there could be times you just need to disappear for a bit to let things cool off at your home turf. In 1936, a guy named Charles “Lucky” Luciano need to do just that and heard about Hot Springs Arkansas. His connections with Oney Madden made that New York disappearing act easy. As you can understand in the 1930’s, it wasn’t that hard to just disappear. Since Hot Springs was known for its gambling and nightlife it seemed like a great vacation spot.
Unfortunately for Lucky, his luck ran out here in Hot Springs as he was spotted by a NY detective while walking down Bathhouse Row. He was eventually was arrested and in 1936 was sentenced to a 30-50 prison sentence in New York. Even though Oney Madden or any other crime bosses did not have any ties to Motorcycles, this “bad boy” imagery is reflected in this series of shirts as to serve as a tribute to this history of Hot Springs Arkansas.The Gildan 5000 heavy cotton tee is a dependable classic made for everyday wear and custom printing. Dual Printing Techniques
Sleeve prints (for Print Clever and Underground Threads) and inner neck labels are printed using Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, ensuring crisp, detailed designs. Meanwhile, the remaining print areas are produced with Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing.
